The main differences between men’s and women’s Botox are the dosage and injection techniques. Because men’s facial muscles tend to be larger and stronger than women’s, more units of Botox are often required. For men, we also adjust our injection technique to smooth out lines while still maintaining a more rugged appearance.
Of course! Many of our male patients combine Botox with dermal fillers to help with facial balancing, or chemical peels to improve skin tone and texture.
The number of injections and the amount of Botox are completely customized for each patient based on their muscle strength, anatomy, existing expression lines, and desired results.
Although everyone is different, you can usually start seeing results anywhere from 2 to 5 days, with continued evolution for up to two weeks.
Botox results will last 3-4 months on average, and duration typically depends on a wide variety of factors such as your metabolic rate and the treatment area. However, it’s important to note that results will gradually fade, so regular maintenance will be required if you’d like to see ongoing benefits.
You should avoid exercise for the rest of the day after a Botox treatment. (This includes any intense forms of physical activity that increase blood flow to the face, such as swimming or hiking.) All normal activities can be resumed the following day.

Treatment Process
When you’re ready to move forward with treatment, our clinician will bring you to one of our comfortable aesthetic treatment rooms. First, we’ll take a series of photos so we can track results and progress. You’ll also need to sign an informed consent form.
Your Aesthetic Nurse Specialist will use facial marking to ensure precision and accuracy, and our state-of-the-art Accuvein “vein finder” will be implemented to see through your skin to reduce the chance of bruising.
Botox is injected through a series of quick injections with a tiny needle.
Maximum Comfort
The actual injection process only takes a few minutes, and there’s no downtime. Once the injections are complete, we’ll review your post-treatment care instructions with you. If it’s your first time at AESTHETICS 360°, we will schedule your two-week follow-up appointment before you leave. This is an important step so we can take “after” photos to compare results and ensure patient satisfaction. Sometimes a dose adjustment of one or two units is needed at this two-week follow-up.
Fast Results
You’ll start seeing results in 1 to 5 days, and they’ll continue to improve over the next couple of weeks. More deeply set in lines and wrinkles will require regular 3-4 month treatment sessions to continue to reduce their appearance.
