Discomfort can vary depending on the area of the face being treated, but it tends to be mild and completely tolerable. Most patients describe the feeling of the filler process as being similar to a slight pinch. A topical numbing cream is used to offer more comfort, and our nurse experts inject slowly and smoothly.
In order to determine how much filler you need, we’ll conduct a thorough consultation where we consider your aesthetic goals, individual anatomy, tissue characteristics, and more. From there, we can determine how much filler is needed and create a customized treatment plan.
Results with dermal fillers are visible immediately! There may be some slight swelling (that will go away soon after your appointment), but you’ll be able to notice enhanced volume right after. On average, results last anywhere from 3 to 18 months, but their duration can vary depending on the area treated, the type of filler used, and your lifestyle. Maintenance is required to maintain optimal results and prolong the effects.

Personalized Consultation
We’ll start your journey towards facial balancing with a thorough consultation and analysis. One of our experienced Nurse Specialists will learn about your aesthetic goals, evaluate your skin tissue, and perform an anatomical assessment. From there, we’ll determine if you’re a suitable candidate for facial balancing with dermal fillers. A customized treatment plan will be created for you, and we’ll walk you through what you can expect from the process, as well as realistic expectations.
Treatment Process
When it’s time for your treatment, you’ll be brought to one of our comfortable aesthetic treatment rooms. From there, we’ll take a series of photos so we can track results and progress. Then, we’ll cleanse and disinfect the treatment area with an aseptic technique. Your Aesthetic Nurse Specialist will use facial marking and our state-of-the-art Accuvein “vein finder” to ensure precision and accuracy, as well as to reduce the chance of bruising. The whole appointment takes one to two hours on average.
Post-Treatment Expectations
After your facial balancing treatment is done, your face will be cleansed again, and a few more photos will be taken. We’ll review all post-treatment instructions thoroughly with you, and then schedule your clinical follow-up appointment (typically 2 to 3 weeks out). Many patients leave without any telltale signs of needle injection, but everyone is different. You can expect mild swelling and bruising that will resolve depending on how your body heals.
Natural Results
A minimum of 2 weeks is needed for the product to smooth out and settle in. However, before long, you’ll be enjoying a rejuvenated and subtly balanced appearance! It’s important to note that dermal fillers are not permanent, and their duration can vary depending on a number of factors. Maintenance is required to maintain optimal results and prolong the effects, so you should expect to schedule a follow-up treatment anywhere from 6-18 months after your initial procedure.
