There are many factors that affect duration of results. Type of product, area treated, sun/UV exposure, lifestyle, smoking, drinking, metabolism and more. On average, results last 3-18 months depending on these factors.
We use a topical numbing cream to prevent pain. Lip fillers are an injection, so you may feel a slight pinch from the needle.

At AESTHETICS 360° education is at the core of what we do. We’ll conduct a thorough and transparent consultation to learn about your facial aesthetic goals, perform anatomical assessment to determine if you are a suitable candidate for treatment with dermal filler in Milwaukee, and review all risks while fully educating about what to expect and the process. Treatment Process
When you’re ready to move forward with scheduled treatment, our clinician will bring you to one of our comfortable aesthetic treatment rooms. First, we’ll take a series of photos so we can track results and progress. You’ll also need to sign an informed consent form. We’ll cleanse and disinfect the treatment area with an aseptic technique. Topical numbing cream for added comfort will be applied.
Your Aesthetic Nurse Specialist will use facial marking to ensure precision and accuracy and our state of the art Accuvein “vein finder” will be implemented to see through your skin to reduce the chance of bruising.
For some areas on the face, we will utilize our handheld facial aesthetic Clarius ultrasound device to guide injection and avoid prominent arteries and vascular areas. We’re one of only two medical aesthetic practices in SE Wisconsin to utilize this progressive technology to help ensure safe and accurate treatments.
Downtime Expectations
At the end of your lip filler treatment in Milwaukee, your face will be cleansed again and a few more photos will be taken. We’ll review all post-treatment instructions thoroughly and schedule your follow-up appointment before your leave.
Many patients leave without any telltale signs of needle injection, but everyone is different. You can expect mild swelling and bruising that will resolve depending on how your body heals.
