Targeted Treatment
The BBL device targets a variety of skin conditions without damaging surrounding tissue. The appropriate light wavelength and number of passes will be determined based on your skin type and desired treatment goals. A key component of treatment is balancing safety and efficacy to build gradual and noticeable results.
Treatment Process
Once you are ready to move forward with a Broadband Light Photofacial, our Licensed Aesthetician / Laser Technician will take a series of “before” photos. An informed consent form will be reviewed with you and signature acquired. Our provider will bring you into a treatment room where you will be asked to lie down and get comfortable on the treatment bed.
Protective eyewear will be positioned over your eyes and the area to be treated will be fully cleansed, and a gliding gel will be applied. You can expect to hear beeping sounds as the laser handpiece glides over your skin, with a series of light flashes and a warm sensation.
Expected Downtime & Results
After treatment, you can expect the skin to be pink or red and feel quite warm. Cool compresses will be applied if needed. But don’t worry, the feeling of warmth and the redness will go down in a couple hours for most individuals. Mild swelling may occur. Post treatment care instructions will be thoroughly reviewed.
If needed, you can reapply makeup. If you are receiving a series of treatments, your next session will be scheduled for 4-6 weeks. Updated photos are taken at each session so we can prove our results and be excited for the improvements! Over the next week or two, pigment will rise to the surface and clear away.
Rejuvenated Skin
With only 1-2 days of social downtime, rejuvenating results start immediately. Areas of redness are cleared, and pigmented areas will darken and rise to the surface to clear away within 7-21 days. Skin will brighten and a new glow will appear!

You will be a bit pink/red after treatment, but don’t worry, this will resolve by the next morning. Feel free to wear makeup, but extremely diligent sun protection is necessary for 2 weeks after treatment.
