Take Your Skin to the Next Level with Microneedling

As we age, our ability to generate new skin cells & collagen decreases. Years of sun exposure & other environmental or biological factors contribute to the look of aging & damaged skin. We may have unwanted fine lines & wrinkles, larger pore size, acne scarring & textural concerns. When it comes to noticeable skin rejuvenation, there’s a variety of options. As a non-surgical service that requires only 1-2 days of social downtime after treatment, Microneedling is one of the most popular techniques to renew the tone & texture of the skin. #Trending

Microneedling in Milwaukee, WI stimulates new skin

Microneedling, or collagen induction therapy, is hands down the go-to treatment for skin rejuvenation. Unlike mechanical exfoliation such as Microdermabrasion, Microneedling is designed to address skin concerns at a deeper level & stimulate collagen. Microneedling reaches below the top layer of skin & creates micro-channels punctures. These tiny channels give the skin the opportunity to react as if it were injured, which stimulates collagen & elastin production. Collagen is what gives our skin its strength & elasticity. The new collagen & elastin creates firmness to the skin & can help to reduce the appearance of acne scars, wrinkles, & sun damage.

The cutting edge anti-aging solution

AESTHETICS 360° is proud to offer the SkinPen® Microneedling device – it’s the first & only Microneedling device in the world that has been studied & cleared by the FDA, & that’s pretty huge! The SkinPen® is great for anybody who’s interested in anti-aging, rejuvenation & turning back the clock on their skin. Along with losing 1% of collagen production every year, our bodies are also creating less collagen as a result of sun exposure & genetics, which is why we develop wrinkles later in life. If you can keep collagen production going, you’re going to prevent wrinkles & keep your skin firm & plump. I’m sold!

What to expect

A topical numbing cream is applied to ensure patient comfort. Patients may feel a slight vibration during treatment. Afterward, the skin will be pink to red, similar to a sunburn. While the temporary redness is relatively more extensive than Microdermabrasion, Microneedling is considered a more powerful treatment that can achieve a wider range of cosmetic skin goals. Acne scars? What acne scars?

Results

The results of Microneedling treatments are both immediate & progressive. Many patients will begin to see the effectiveness of the skin’s repair process immediately upon their first treatment. Best results are seen with a series of 3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart. Yes, you need more than one treatment. We’re erasing YEARS of skin damage & aging & that doesn’t happen overnight.  Improvements can take anywhere from 1 to 6 months to be seen. Proven with our digital imaging!
