  1. What is it? CoolSculpting is the world’s leading non-invasive fat reduction treatment. The Harvard-developed cooling technology targets and kills fat cells without surgery or downtime. CoolSculpting works by freezing treated fat cells in common trouble areas, which then results in eliminating the treated fat for good.
  1. Is it safe? CoolSculpting is safe and effective in reducing treated fat in several areas of the body. CoolSculpting can reduce up to 20-25 percent of fat cells in the treated area, sometimes in as little as one treatment. Once these fat cells are gone, they’re gone for good.
  1. Am I a good candidate? During your consultation, one of our certified CoolSculpting specialists will determine if you’re a good candidate for CoolSculpting. An ideal candidate for CoolSculpting is someone who is healthy overall but has areas of stubborn fat they’d like to get rid of. However, it’s important to note CoolSculpting is not a weight loss solution. CoolSculpting is a body contouring treatment that is designed for those who need a little help with reducing body fat in trouble areas. CoolSculpting is designed to be a supplement to a well-balanced diet and regular exercise routine. The first step to take when trying to determine if CoolSculpting will work for you is to schedule your complimentary consultation!
  1. How should I prepare for my first treatment? CoolSculpting requires very little planning. Once you’ve completed your consultation, you can just show up for your treatment and get ready to have your fat cells frozen. Comfy clothes are recommended — but depending on the area that is treated, you might change into disposable garments provided by A360.
  1. What will my treatment be like? First, the applicator (or applicators, if we’re treating more than one area at once) is attached by our certified CoolSculpting specialist. This is how the treatment works to freeze the fat away without harming the skin. During the treatment, you can relax, read, scroll through Instagram, watch tv or take a nap — it’s your choice! Most patients report minimal discomfort during treatment.
  1. How long is each treatment? A CoolSculpting treatment can last as little as 35 minutes. The actual time of your treatment will vary depending on the treatment area and how many areas being treated.  If you’re getting multiple areas treated during your appointment, your treatment time will be longer. During consultation, you will learn every detail that you need to know.
  1. What happens after my treatment? After the applicator is removed, your provider will perform a 2-minute massage to the treated which will help break up the fat and enhance results. You will be able to return to normal activities immediately after your treatment. You may notice the skin on and around the treated area may look pink for a few hours after being treated. Common side effects after treatment include soreness, itching, swelling and numbness to the touch— and can last anywhere from a few days to a month. Your certified CoolSculpting specialist will fully review all of this with you after your treatment, and send you home with post-care information.
  1. How many treatments will I need? Everyone’s body and treatment plan will be different. Our certified CoolSculpting specialist will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan based on your own body contouring goals.
  1. When can I expect to see results? Results can be seen as early as 30 days and up to 150 days…everyone responds at a different rate.  You will be seen at 60 days for your first set of follow up photos and then again at 120 days.
  1. What happens after my treatment series? Once the treated fat cells are gone, they’re gone for good! The best way to maintain your results from CoolSculpting is to continue with following a healthy diet and exercise regimen. If you do gain weight, it will be evenly distributed throughout the body — not just back in the areas that were treated with CoolSculpting.
