The Must List: 5 Aesthetic Treatments to Try in 2022

Oh hey, 2022! It’s a brand new year — and that means you have 365 opportunities to try something totally new. Pretty great, right?

In honor of waving goodbye to 2021 and welcoming 2022, we’ve compiled five aesthetic treatments we are LOVING for the new year. From body sculpting and cellulite busting to three of our favorite skin treatments, we’ve got treatments to prevent, correct, maintain and/or enhance your face and body:

1. CoolSculpting

Our favorite body sculpting treatment for any time of year, CoolSculpting is a nonsurgical and scientifically proven way to reduce pockets of fat in trouble spots. You can expect a minimum of 30 days between treatments, depending on the area treated. In addition to the commonly known areas like the abdomen, arms, thighs and flanks, CoolSculpting is also a great option for unexpected areas, like the banana roll and that annoying “double chin.”

Once the treated fat cells are gone, they’re gone for good! The best way to maintain your results from CoolSculpting is to continue with following a healthy diet and exercise regimen. If you do gain weight, it will be evenly distributed throughout the body — not just back in the areas that were treated with CoolSculpting.

Remember: Summer (and spring break) bodies are created in the winter months, so now is the time to start your CoolSculpting journey!

2. QWO

New and noteworthy! QWO (collagenase clostridium histolyticum-aaes) is a first of its kind — a non-surgical injectable treatment that treats the cause of cellulite. The result? A noticeable reduction in the appearance of cellulite and an overall smoother skin appearance in the treated area.

QWO is the first and only FDA-approved injectable for cellulite, and the enzymes in QWO — called collagenases — are believed to target a structural cause of cellulite under your skin. It’s a non-surgical option, which is injected over three sessions, spaced three weeks apart.

The injections take as little as 10 minutes per session — and some women see results as soon as 10 weeks after the third session. Schedule a complimentary consultation with one of our QWO Pros to learn more, then say “See ya, bum bumps!”

3. BroadBand Light (BBL)

Let’s give it up for a winter favorite: BBL! BBL sessions are great for addressing a variety of skin concerns, including acne, age spots, sun damage, broken blood vessels, hyperpigmentation, redness, rosacea and more.

BBL is already considered to be the gold standard for Intense Pulsed Light treatments — and our BBL HERO laser is the most state-of-the-art laser in the market. BBL technology improves skin tone by targeting damaged skin cells with the use of intense light wavelengths. Skin cells are stimulated and regenerated, restoring skin to a rejuvenated, smooth and vibrant appearance.

And since you’ll need a few treatments to see results — and you should avoid prolonged sun exposure during this time — winter is the ideal season for BBL downtime.

4. The SaltFacial

The SaltFacial is our single most popular skin treatment for any skin type, any skin tone, any time of year. It features three different technologies on one platform: highly refined, all-natural sea salt exfoliation, hand-held medical aesthetic ultrasound and high-intensity LED phototherapy.

The first step of The SaltFacial works to restore your skin using fine, organic sea salt, while the second step uses a small hand-held medical aesthetic ultrasound device to drive customized essential ingredients deep into the dermal layer of the skin where it can nourish and enhance cellular turnover. The last step uses high-powered LED phototherapy to rejuvenate and get an instant glow. With four different light wavelength settings to choose from, your A360 aesthetician can use this step to improve circulation, stimulate collagen, reduce inflammation and redness, or kill surface bacteria on acne-prone skin. Perfectly customized, just for you!

5. Microneedling

One of our favorite things about microneedling? It promotes collagen and elastin production. Over time, sun exposure breaks down collagen fibers and the integrity of our skin. Thankfully, microneedling works to reverse that damage — helping your skin recover.

The FDA-cleared microneedling SkinPen used during microneedling treatments at A360 glides across the skin in a stamping-like process, creating thousands of microscopic channels to stimulate the skin’s production of new collagen and elastin.

This process leads to an improvement in the appearance of acne scars; fine lines and wrinkles; sun damage; stretch marks; pores and overall tone and texture. It is safe for all skin types and can be used on all parts of the body.
